Cohabitation on the trails
Since May 2023, the MTB-Hiking-Agriculture campaign has been encouraging harmonious cohabitation on mountain and forest trails. With clear messages such as “stay on the trails, get properly equipped - and rules of good practice”, it promotes safety and respect between users.
Please respect the following rules to ensure harmonious cohabitation:
Enduro itineraries use footpaths shared with hikers. Pedestrians always have priority.
Reduce your speed when crossing villages and hamlets. Be careful at intersections and obey the highway code.
Some routes pass through steep areas close to cliffs. Be aware of these and take extra care. If necessary, get off your bike.
Protect the environment: stay on the trails, don't make wild tracks, and don't cut the laces of the paths.
