Mobile collection of special waste

On Wednesday 24 April, an itinerant collection of special waste from private households will be held, for private individuals only.

Place and time of collection on Wednesday 24 April 2024:
In Chalais: from 9.45am to 10.30am at the cable car square.
In Briey: from 11 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. at Place de Praniviers.
In Vercorin: from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at the cable car car park.

Below is the list of waste collected:

- Pesticides, herbicides
- Energy-saving light bulbs, neon tubes
- Mercury thermometers, syringes
- Paints, varnishes, glues
- Acids, bases, paint strippers
- Fire extinguishers, camping gas, toners
- Medicines, disinfectants, sprays
- Greases, mineral oils, vegetable oils, lubricants
- Car batteries, accumulators, lithium batteries, batteries
- Chemicals, cleaning products, solvents, benzines, detergents, thinners, photographic fluids, aerosols, etc.

For safety reasons, liquid waste cannot be decanted during collection and is therefore collected in its container.
